Wether you are looking to start your musical journey or to take your piano playing to the next level, I'm sure you've got questions to ask. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions that might be helpful!

Q1. Am I qualified to apply to study with Richarlita?

A: The short answer is: YES! OF COURSE! I teach students of a variety of levels and age. Please let me know about where you are at currently in your musical journey when filling out the application form here.

Q2. Where will the lessons take place?

A: Lessons will be given primarily online. I coordinate with each student for the best app(s) to use depending on the students’ available devices. Students should make sure that they have access to a piano instrument and good WiFi connection during lessons.

Q3. Do I have to own a piano in order to get started?

A: Having a piano is certainly helpful and encouraged but not required. Instruments can be expensive and I understand that everyone has different budget for their musical education. If you are learning piano for fun, maybe a good quality keyboard can work just fine for you. If you hope to learn piano more seriously, we may need a discussion on what instrument would be most suitable for you for the long run.

Q4. How often should I have my piano lessons?

A: I recommend taking regular lessons such as weekly lessons or biweekly lessons. Having regular lessons gives you the benefit of solving the questions and difficulties you encounter during your own practice time in a timely manner, and this certainly helps with the progress that we both would like to see.

If you have more questions, feel free to leave your message! I will get back to you as soon as possible.
